Mangaluru: Fr Nelson Almeida's short movie ‘My Teacher My School’ released

Mangaluru, Nov 14: ‘My Teacher My School’ a short children’s movie was released on children’s day at St Theresa School, Bendur, by Dr Aloysius Paul D’Souza, Bishop of Mangalore Diocese.

The movie is produced, directed and written by Rev Fr Nelson D’Almeida, Professor, St Joseph Seminary, Jeppu, Mangaluru.

Releasing the film the bishop applauded the effort made by Fr Nelson especially teaching moral values through short movies. Bishop also invited him to bring out many more such films into light in order lead the children to right path.

Tiny tot Dolwia D’Souza who played student’s role and Jasmine Moreira who played teacher’s role in the short film were honoured on the occasion.

Sr Mariette, Secretary of Bethany Educational Society, Bendur gave review of the film.

Fr Joseph Martis, Rector of St Joseph Seminary, Jeppu, welcomed the guests and Fr Nelson D’Almeida thanked the guests and also those who supported for the success of film.

Sr Premitha, Principal of St Theresa School and a large number of children, teachers and guests were present on the occasion.

    CONGRATULATIONS Fr. Nelson for attempting a children short movie.Definitely through this new experiment releasing a children movie one can inculcate moral lessons/values in children which is quite essential in present generation. Also try to produce few more in future days.
