Billawara Balaga Abu Dhabi to celebrate 22nd anniversary on Nov 25

Abu Dhabi, Nov 16: Billawara Balaga Abu Dhabi, which is one of the oldest Billawa organizations in the gulf region, will be celebrating its 22nd anniversary with variety of dances, skits, games, and orchestra at Country Club Abu Dhabi, near Abu Dhabi Immigration, on Friday November 25 at 10.00 am.

Billawara Balaga Abu Dhabi formed in 1994, with the goal of integrating and caring and sharing, had inspired birth of many Billawa associations in the gulf region. Balaga has honored dignitaries and artistes who were invited from India on the occasion of anniversary programmes. Several popular Tulu plays were successfully staged in Abu Dhabi and Dubai as part of anniversary programmes with local artists from community. Picnics were conducted and festivals were celebrated regularly with community members. Financial help was rendered to needy community members and Billawa organizations back home.

For the past few years, Billawara Balaga has been actively distributing scholarship to the needy and poor Billawa children in and around Mangaluru.

Manohar Thonse, convener and committee members of Billawara Balaga Abu Dhabi request Billawas to attend the family get-together programme in large numbers.
