Los Angeles, Nov 17 (IANS): Singer Adrienne Bailon lost 22 pounds before her wedding.

The singer got married in Paris last week. 

The "Real" host dropped the impressive amount in the run up to her wedding to Israel Houghton, which took place in Paris, reports people.com.

"We actually bonded over lobster pizza at Berri's Cafe on 3rd Street in Los Angeles. We gained weight together and now we're losing it together," Bailon said.

"I love the way my clothes are fitting so much that I don't want to stop. I want this to become a lifestyle. I'm enjoying working out. I enjoy the way it makes me feel. Israel has lost 25 pounds so he's beating me, but I'm competitive - so wait for it," she added.

Meanwhile, the 33-year-old feels "blessed and grateful" to be married to Houghton.

"I genuinely just feel so blessed and grateful. I've honestly never been happier in my entire life. I've never felt what I feel right now. I can't even describe what it is, but it's such a peace mixed with total excitement.

"I'm so glad we chose such an intimate group of who have shared in our journey and know our hearts and that I honestly feel comfortable crying in front of. I didn't want to invite people I felt I had to put on a performance for. I wanted every moment to be genuine and really special and that's what it is going to be," Bailon said.
