Mangaluru: Sri Rama Sene holds colourful rally to mark decennial

Mangaluru, Nov 17: As part of the decennial celebrations of Sri Rama Sene (SRS) and the upcoming Datta Jayanti celebration, a colourful 'Santha Yatra' rally was held in the city on Thursday November 17.

The rally began from Kadri Shree Manjunatha Kshetra and culminated at Kudroli Shree Gokarnanatha Kshetra.

The rally was inaugurated by advocate and Arya Samaj president Dinakar Shetty.

Over 60 sadhus and swamijis from northern parts of India and more than 500 SRS activists were part of the rally.

The procession was flanked by a long line of two-wheelers, chende troupes and tableaux.

A press note by SRS stated that it was the first time that sadhus and swamijis had come in such large numbers to support Datta Peetha rally by the outfit.

The group of ascetics will take part in SRS programmes in Sringeri, Aldur and Balehannur, before entering Chikkamagaluru, where SRS will hold a 'Shobha Yatra' on November 20 to mark its decennial and then move towards Datta Peetha.

    Another stage created for communal disturbance once pristine and tourism potential Bababudangiri in Chikmagalur.

    Ram Krishna mission is doing unique service to Mangalore cleaning and Ram Sene is only marching the street.

    Common man is struggling for few Rupees to feed his children and these imported Sadhus marching streets like RBI Governors.

    These guys have no invite for Reddy's daughter's wedding, fearing that the East European women would be in danger. We all know that M'lore is a clean place and hope the place does not become dirty. From were so much of money,amount spent is all black. How come two wheeler riders without helmet? Police only spectators.

    Everybody carrying charm within themselves after obtaining by punishing there body day and night from many years. They can only visualise the power of god. We are blessed to have them in our city and all are glorified all of sudden. They condemn to visit any marriage functions and only after to seek blessings of god. Nor like other religious leaders waiting for fresh fish reach to there kitchen first.

    The front line in the walk is completely stunned for public and medias photograph.

    Either they are amazed seeing mangalore people or the photographers giving them worlds top red carpet service.

    But where is the Sardaar Mutalik in the show? Or being busy in hosting pakistani flag in some govt office ?? Like before.

    Mr Rustom, you seem to be anxious to prove a point about the authenticity of this event. May you know that we all have respect and reverence to your spiritual gurus and the religious traditions. In fact, there are several Christian Ashrams which are following various aspects of the life style of these Hindu traditions. Why there is bias so much to Ram Sene is because they attack the fundamental rights of the people in the name of protecting the culture. This might not have been done by the Sadhus but by the anti-social elements in these organizations.

    I have nothing to say about the rally as it is based on their religion and group they are representing.

    However, watch carefully pictures. Most of them are not wearing the helmet including pillion. Funny thing is that, Traffic police is controlling the rally and yet no action for not wearing helmet. When such things are violated both by the people and authority, how one would expect common man to follow? how the authorities can impose such thing for common man.

    Can your spiritual leaders can live without clothes for just one year. These people especially lives in caves, small huts, ashrams without enjoying fruits of society. They are totally cut off from the main stream. In the interest of welfare of society they are invited from time to time to preach to masses. A good will people. No one match with there knowledge. Dont go for looks.

    I have mentioned about the bike riders, which means during rallies people can violate the law. That is message you trying to convey!! Do you want to say that bike riders are spiritual leaders, hence, the law does not apply to them?

    Peter...sometimes feel for organising events wants to take permission of minorities by 85% majority people. We are not doing in vatican city. It's what done by congress snatching freedom of speech of majorities. Slowly it's recalling after modiji took over. Still they act in same way. It's our culture.

    Certainly these SRS goons cannot perform the stunts like India Gate . To perform the stunts they need guts and discipline. SRS always show off and infamous with their communial back ground. They created tensed atmosphere around Chickmaglur since past so many years with thier rallies and hate speech.

    Are driving in the speed according to the walk of sants and swamijis. Cannot overtake them..it's absolutely not mentioned in our religion. Wants to respect our elders and not to slap principal as happened in a reputed college.
