Dubai: St Joseph’s Belman Bethkati organises annual get-together

Dubai, Nov 19: St Joseph’s Belman Bethkati Association here, held their annual get-together at Creek Park, on Friday November 11. Ivan Pereira, president of the association welcomed the gathering and thanked everyone for their presence. The get-together commenced with prayers led by Pius D’Cruz. Thereafter, a piping hot breakfast and tea was provided to the early birds.

Arun D’Silva with the assistance of Ivan D'Souza, compered the entire day's activities and got everyone involved in actively participating in the various team games like dodge ball, throw ball, balloon race for adults, water game, Kabaddi, ice breakers with action songs were conducted to make the crowd more active, antakshari, lemon race for children and games for couples were organized. A general quiz was conducted between the two teams.

A sumptuous Mangalurean lunch from Al Shay Restaurant was provided for a gathering of 90. The children who won in the games were rewarded with prizes. Evening tea was served with snacks.

Thereafter, a tug of war was conducted to decide the final winning team. The winners were rewarded with sweets, which they shared with the team members. Overall, it was a fun filled day with everybody sharing a good time with family and friends.
