Udupi: Hit by car, labourer loses life

Udupi, Nov 20: After a car hit him on the night of Saturday November 19, a north-Karnataka based labourer involved with construction industry here was killed. The accident occurred opposite Hale Marigudi at Kaup in the talk.

Mahantesh (31) from Bagalkot district was killed in this accident. He was knocked down by a car that was moving towards the city from Mangaluru. Immediately after the accident, Mahantesh, who had suffered serious injuries, was taken to  hospital at Udupi for t treatment. However, he did not survive the journey to the hospital.

A case about this road accident was registered in Kaup police station. Investigation has been take up.
