Udupi: Bhaskar case- Sparks fly between women over Hotel Durga ownership

Daijiworld Media Network - Udupi (SP)

Udupi, Nov 21: Tussle over ownership of properties standing in the name of Bhaskar Shetty, who was supposedly murdered and consigned to flames in a clandestine operation by his own family members sometime back, continues even now. On Sunday November 20, heated verbal duel arose between Bhaskar's mother, Gulabi Shetty, and main accused, Rajeshwari Shetty's sister, Renuka Shetty, over the management of Hotel Durga International here.

When the issue grew worse and it looked like going out of hand, police personnel intervened, took both the ladies to the police station, and let them go after getting bonds executed by them.

Bhaskar Shetty had given power of attorney to run the said hotel standing in his name to his wife, Rajeshwari Shetty. Power of attorney loses validity on the demise of the one who has granted it. It is said that after Rajeshwari was held on charges of murder, the civil court here had entrusted administration of this hotel to Gulabi Shetty. But Rajeshwari's sister, Renuka Shetty, came to the hotel on Sunday and occupied the cash counter, claiming that she holds the power of attorney to run the hotel. Gilabi Shetty arrived at the spot and argued with Renuka about the ownership of the hotel.

When the fight aggravated, police personnel of the town station got information. They took both the women to the station and questioned them. Renuka insisted that she was given power of attorney by Rajeshwari, but Gulabi said she was vested with the power to run the hotel by the court. Gulabi also accused Renuka of taking away Rs 5,500 belonging to the hotel.

The police succeeded in quelling the fight and sending both the ladies away after getting bonds executed by them.

Who is Renuka, let her bring court order to run the hotel, not Rajeshwari order. Now Gulabi Shetty is the property owner.

Still people go behind / desire for these 3 W. Very few r behind wine and it can be avoided by even those who are addicted. But Wealth and Women very difficult to avoid. Some people may not be behind or wish for women but most of them are definitely behind wealth.

As a general rule Power of Attorney loses its validity upon a persons death. So how, Rajeshwari can give Power of Attorney to her sister Renuka.
Moreover, court already entrusted administration of hotel to Gulabi Shetty. If at all Renuka has the power of attorney, she should challenge this the court and not with Gulabi Shetty.

Gulabi Shetty should file complaint against Renuka Shetty for threatening her and misusing the GPA and for contempt of court. We can imagine how bad was life of Bhaskar Shetty and his mother with this type of wife and her families.

WHY POLICE SHOW SOFT CORNER TO RENUKA INSTEAD OF PUTTING BEHIND BARS FOR INTERFERING IN THEIR FAMILY MATTER.
WHEN CIVIL COURT GIVEN AUTHORITY TO THE MOTHER COURT MUST HAVE APPLIED ITS MIND AND STANDS VALID. THERE IS NO RIGHT TO RENUKA TO INTERFERE WITHOUT COURT PERMISSION AND THAT TOO ON A SENIOR CITIZEN WHO HAS TO BE RESPECTED FOR ANY REASONS.
IT SEEMS ALL SISTERS ARE MADE FOR EACH OTHERS IN GOONDAISM. IS THERE ANY PROVISION FOR THESE TYPE OF CRIMES IN LEGAL PURVIEW.
WHEN WE TREAT MOTHERS AS VISIBLE GOD WHY SO SYMPATHY ON SUCH ISSUES.
