Two from Kundapur killed in truck-bike accident in Goa

Kundapur, Nov 25: Three persons including two from Kundapur died in a collision between a fish truck and a bike in Goa late night on Thursday November 24.

The deceased have been identified as Riyaz (33) from Maravanthe and Ganesh (24) from Kotabagilu in Tallur. They were travelling in the fish truck.

The identity of the bike rider, who also died in the accident, is yet to be ascertained.

The truck laden with fish was plying from Kundapur. When it reached Kundli, the truck collided head-on with a bike approaching from the opposite direction. After colliding with the bike, the truck toppled.

The truck belonged to Mansoor from Maravanthe, sources said.

A case has been registered.
