Dubai: SMMC to hold Konkani family, group carol singing on Dec 10

Dubai, Nov 27: Fr Robert Lasrado has provided another opportunity to the talented Konkani parishioner to come forward with Christmas spirit.

St Mary’s Mangalorean Community (SMMC) has announced the Christmas Competition 2016 – Family or Group carol singing to be held on December 10 at the Church Mini Hall from 1:30 pm onwards.

Rules:

Contestant should be from Konkani community in Dubai.

• Group formation can be done by the members of a single family / friends / people of different age with 3 to 10 members.

• Restricted to first 20 genuine entries only on first come first serve basis.

• Contestants can dress up in attire suitable for Christmas season.

• Contestants can sing only Konkani Christmas carols. Time duration of 5 minutes for each group.

• Musical instruments are permitted, however contestant should bring own instruments.

• No usage of pre-recorded music for the competition

Interested participants are requested to send inquiry to SMMCXmas2016@gmail.com or can collect the forms from Fr Robert’s office.

Completed forms should be signed and handed over to Fr Robert or can scan the copy to SMMCXmas2016@gmail.com

Last date to submit the entries: On or before December 8.
