Bantwal, Nov 27: Dakshina Kannada deputy commissioner (DC) Dr K G Jagadeesh on Saturday, November 27 warned officials who failed to follow the instructions he gave in the recent past relating to various developmental works within Bantwal town limits.

“The work allotted should be completed within stipulated time. If at all the work remains incomplete due to unavoidable reasons, it should not become a hindrance for further work,“ Dr Jagadeesh told the officials present in the meeting while he was reviewing the work allotted to them.

“While implementing the road widening work in Bantwal town, do not spare anyone including the religious places and residences. They should be vacated and the work should go on. We cannot make any alternative arrangements for encroachers. Whoever is occupying the land on the road margin should be told to leave as per the law and the work should begin within a week.” DC instructed.

He said the bus bay at Kaikamba should become a reality within 15 days. He asked to take help from all concerned departments like Highway Authority, Forest, Municipality, Revenue etc to implement the project faster without any delay. He asked them to consider the blueprint prepared by assistant commissioner in this regard.

DC also briefed about all the developmental works in the town limits. He told them not to give any excuses in the next meeting.

People entrusted with certain jobs should complete the jobs within stipulated time limits. All works should entrusted to responsible persons. If for any valid reasons the jobs are not completed, it is imperative that such jobs are scheduled and taken up for completion on the basis of A TIME BOUND PROGRAM.

Jai ho DC ji.... But beware of the corrupt judiciary, which may give stay orders. Also do not do like Modi, who gave benefits to his party, party men, Business partners, friends and relatives before announcing the scheme of demonitisation ...without any ordinance....

This guy wont last long. As he seems to be sincere, he wont receive any support from the lethargic Cong leaders. And one fine day he will termed as inefficent and then he will be asked to leave. The Cong was just 'rubber stamps' as DC or Mayor.

These warnings do not serve the purpose. Government to enact law to send home the "Non-Performing" staff like in private/multinational companies and issue pink slip. Modiji, aapne sabka vikas kar diya. Ee bhi thoda socho aur kar daalo.
