Dubai, Nov 27: 'Hamsa Naada', a romantic musical extravaganza and a Kannada musical mega event with Dr Hamsalekha is happening for the first time in Dubai, UAE on December 9 at Ductac Centre Point Theatre, Mall of the Emirates.
Grand preparations are under way to take all Kannadigas of UAE to 'Premaloka', the World of Love. Spearheaded by Dr Hamsalekha himself, the performing artistes are ready to conquer hearts and souls with all the essence of romantic renderings composed by Dr Hamsalekha.
The legend will be accompanied by his wife Latha Hamsalekha who is also a playback singer, Chinmai Athreyas, a playback singer and of Zee SaReGaMaPa Top One singer fame, Manasa Holla, a well-known playback singer, Acharya Mohan Kumar, a Hindustani vocalist and a disciple of Ramesh Narayanan who is the disciple of Pandit Jasraj, and Shivakumar, a talented singer from Dubai, who has also done playback singing. Professional musicians will be coming from Bengaluru.
The musical extravaganza will be blended with electrifying and glittering dance performances by Show Stoppers, a professional Bollywood dance troupe in Dubai.
Fans of Hamsalekha have a golden opportunity as the organizers have launched an online contest themed 'Selfie with Hamsalekha, share your singing video and get maximum likes'. The rules are:
1. Create a video of yourself by singing any song composed by Hamsalekha (maximum video length not more than 1 min).
2. Post this video on http://www.facebook.com/HamsaNaadaDec9.
3. The video with the maximum number of likes will win a chance to take a Selfie with Hamsalekha during the Hamsa Naada Show on December 9.
