Mangaluru, Nov 28: Mangaluru Yuva Kalakar and Athma Jyothi Ashram organized a beautiful cultural programme at Don Bosco hall, Mangaluru on Sunday November 27 to mark the end of the year of mercy with the theme “Kakulth ani Veglasar” meaning Mercy and Separation.
The programme began with welcome by Fr Peter Cyprian D’ Souza, Capuchin. He called on the people to experience the mercy of God in various events of life and dispel misery, according to the call given by Pope Francis. He also reminded the people that the year of Mercy ends but the mercy of God does not end.
The programme continued with prayerful dance and Master of ceremony Sheldon Crasta introducing each event, song, dancers and Nishmitha introducing each skit.
The songs were sung by famous singers like Melwyn Peris, Ivy D’Souza, Rony Crasta, Jasmine D’ Souza, Reynal Sequeira, Jenisha D’Souza, Clarita Lobo, Asha Moras, Seema Carlo and other new singers.
The programme was produced by Fr Cyprian D' Souza, Capuchin. Songs were composed by Fr Dolphy Devdas Serrao Capuchin, Music direction was by Simon Pais Bajal, Music organizers were Roshan D' Souza Angelore and Shinoy V Joseph. Skits were directed by Nellu Permannur and co-direction was by Sandeep Panir and Shawn Rodrigues. Music for the skits was by provided Raveen Martis and dances were performed by Sandesh Monteiro, Kulshekar and group.
The programme with unique message was appreciated by one and all.
