Bengaluru: Court restrains Karandlaje from making allegations against Baig

Bengaluru, Dec 1: The 60th additional city civil and sessions court here has directed MP, Shobha Karandlaje not to make any libellous public statements against state urban development minister, Roshan Baig. It passed this order on Wednesday November 30.

Sometime back, Shobha had publicly claimed that Roshan Baig had played a role in the murder of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh leader, Rudresh, in the city. Roshan Baig had filed defamation suit against Shobha, claiming a compensation of ten crore rupees from her for the damage he suffered to his reputation because of her utterances.

The court, which took up the case on Wednesday, directed Shobha as above before adjourning the hearing.
