Karkala, Dec 2: In yet another haul involving huge amount of unaccounted cash, the Karkala police on Friday December 2 seized Rs 71 lac in new Rs 2,000 currency notes at Bailoor here and arrested three persons.

The arrested are Imran, Asif and Deepak. All three are said to be from Kudroli in Mangaluru.

Their Ford car (KA 19 MA 7629) was intercepted in an operation led by police circle inspector of the town station here, John Antony, at Bailoor.

The youngsters were found transporting new currency notes of Rs 2,000 denomination. After finding that they had Rs 71 lac worth of new currency notes for which they could not neither offer a satisfactory explanation nor produce any documents, the three youngsters were arrested. The money was being transported to a designated place in Karkala from Mangaluru via Udupi.

The Central govt should have sent military on every intercity border post to check Vehicle transporting cash. This should have also been done in trains, buses , private vehicles etc. This was a big failure in the demonetization process.

Instead of fighting for corruption,it is increasing .whether it is come from new printing Maschine?or from bank employers merci? Now big chaos with new Money. It is all because Modi didnt plan well before demonetizing.New currency should have been printed and stocked in all Banks before declaring. Now fakes have collected and common man doesnt get paisa, because he has no account at bank.

You have only one work to blindly blaming Mr.Modi.

Why you are not talking about last 60 years how much Fake Surname family looted Tax payers money?

Most of the new note catches are within Karnataka, whats your Sleeping CM Government doing?

All this incidences proves, Karnataka is more corrupt under present Government, no control over Corruption nor crime.

For this New note catches , Bank Managers are responsible, don't blame P.M. for that.

P.sirish Kumar,Hosabettu,we don't blame Modi, but we praise him for demonetizing after a few People knowing about his plan ,depositing Money right time.
Not only in Karnataka but in Gujarat too crores of rupees were unearthed.Gujarat is not in Karnataka as I know. looting is not done by any political Party, but those People who are criminals, Need not point out only one Person.
why People didn't protest when they found it is being looted.everyone was interested to have black Money without paying tax.
But the poor man now has no Money inbetween the hiding crores of new currency, because bank has not enough notes ,because it has not recieved from reserve bank.It should have been previously prepared well before announcing of demonetizing. Not enough to call of but have enough reserve.

The Bank Manager\cashier from the Bank\ Branch from where these currency notes in such large numbers were delivered should be apprehended and taken to task.
Reserve Bank definitely have records of notes with their serial numbers and name of the Bank's name such currency delivered to.
It is not at all a big job if they want to catch wrong doers, if they have the will to do so.
Clean Chit should not be given.

Now, this is an example why there is always a cash shortage at almost all banks and their branches...!!!
Actually Modiji has given chance for these higher=up Bank Staff (even others) to make some money in the name of demonitisation....but it is not at all his mistake.

Poor lower order (income group) are made to suffer, standing in line for days together and allowed only a meagre amount from their hard earned money from their own accounts.
This withdrawal of such low amount by middle\poor people, is that to fecilitate supply of huge amount to big account holders?
Does not the same seem so?

Government (Modiji) should ask details of huge withdrawal transactions with dates\names\Bank\branch names...for his\it's action.

Blunders every where because of very poor planning or may be it was meant ot be so...!!!?

There are pros and cons in every financial system cash or digital!
When it comes to preventing terror and illegal activities funds, hoarding, black money it's good!
But in digital transaction regime, one's legitimate privacy is completely intruded!
Why should one divulge everything where they spend?
Total transferancy has its own advantages and disadvantages as well.
Therefore in the world total digitization didn't succeed.

..and some say Demonitisation is waste action..So many have caught with crores of new money( how they got IT will enquire) and couldn't give proper documents. Govt through IT keeping tab..some bank officials will loose job. Demonitisation definitely unearthing black money. Present cash crunch is govt strategy. Until December end cash crunch situation will continue. Govt wants hoarders to deposit or get caught or throw away black money. After January it will be business as usual in banks.

When there is rationing of currency supply in banks,
Some have so much of new currency!!
It rise to the doubts that Rs.2000 notes were printed in large quantity not in haste but with planning, which helped easy illegal exchange old notes.
