Frank Fernandes' 'Ek Aslyar Ek Na' movie set to premiere in Toronto on Dec 4

Toronto, Dec 3: A long wait seems to be over for those who have been waiting for the release of the superhit Konkani blockbuster movie 'Ek Aslyar Ek Na' (EAEN) in Canada. The movie which has gained great popularity and accolades from all over the world, is now all set to release in Toronto on Sunday December 4. 'EAEN' has already become the talk of the town for its interesting storyline and melodious superhit songs.

Stirred by the tremendous response received in Mangaluru, Gulf countries, USA, and in Israel, the Canara World Foundation Inc (CWF) in association with Mangalorean Association of Canada (MAC) and Konkan Organization of Toronto (KOT) is all set for the premiere screening of the movie 'Ek Aslyar Ek Na' in Canada.

This will be the first-ever Mangalurean movie screened in Canada. It is scheduled to be screened at the renowned Albion Theatre, Etobicoke, Toronto on December 4 at 11 am. It will thus be a historic day for the Konkani-speaking diaspora in Canada who will be witnessing the premiere.

During the special interview aired on North America's only Konkani Radio Station – 'Radio Mango' on November 26, the producer of the movie Frank Fernandes opined that Konkani-speaking Mangalurean and Goan people in Canada will welcome the movie wholeheartedly as the movie has a prominent storyline, immense action and hilarious comedy which make it worth watching.

Every viewer who has seen 'Ek Aslyar Ek Na' is of the opinion that the standard of this movie can be matched to that of any films in Bollywood, be it performance by every actor, story and twist in the storyline, comedy, action and the melodious songs written by Wilson Kateel and the music by Vanil Vegas. When the team of 'Ek Aslyar Ek Na' met a couple of great personalities in Konkani and Tulu languages who have watched this movie, they expressed their praises and high regards for this film.

On behalf of MAC and KOT, the CWF president Max Mendes and the 'Gurkar' Flavian Pinto informed Daijiworld Canada that movie tickets are being sold like hot cakes. He applauded the co-partner associations MAC and KOT for their enormous support in screening the first-ever Mangalurean movie on Canadian screen. The organizers are holding a few movie tickets back to accommodate the eleventh hour buyers.

As EAEN is all set to release in Canada on December 4. The whole teams of CWF, MAC and KOT are fully confident that the movie will gain large popularity and will be watched and liked by all Mangalurean and Goan Konkani-speaking people in Canada.
