Mangaluru, Dec 4: An attempt to murder a person during broad daylight was made on Saturday, December 3 at Light House Hill in city. Pandeshwar police have registered a case against 4 persons relating to the case.
Mohammed Ijaz is the person injured.
Mohammed Ijaz came on his scooter and about to get down in front of a building. Four persons appeared all of sudden and started attacking Mohammed Ijaz on his head with machetes with the intention of killing him. Mohammed Ijaz shouted for help and ran towards the building in front of him. The accused followed him till he reached the stairs of the building and attacked him on his back. Then they ran away from the spot.
Chaba, Jaleel and other unidentified persons are the accused.
Mohammed Ijaz has been admitted in a hospital. Police are investigating.
