Bengaluru: Siddaramaiah relieved in expensive Hublot watch case

Bengaluru, Dec 4: A special Lokayukta court on Saturday December 3 has dismissed an application which sought directions from the court to investigate the matter of Hublot watch gift to the chief minister (CM) Siddaramaiah. As a result, 6 persons including the CM have been relieved.

Civic activist T J Abraham had moved the court regarding the watch gifted to the CM by a Dubai based NRI Dr Girish Chandra Varma.

Abraham had named Siddaramaiah, minister H C Mahadevappa, pollution control board president Lakshman, PWD engineer L Raghu, Dr Girish Chandra Varma and entrepreneur Karan in the case.

T J Abraham reacting to the verdict said that he is approaching the High Court soon regarding the matter.
