Bellevision Bahrain organizes 6th Annual Day programme

Bahrain, Dec 5: The most anxiously awaited Bellevision Bahrain’s 6thAnnual Day was organized with great excitement on Thursday, December 1 at the Baen Sang Thai Auditorium.

The programme began at 09.00 pm with the Introduction of the event by Master of Ceremony Rony Pinto followed by Classical welcome Dance by Nikitha, Rachell and Jenifer. The audiences were surprised when the Present President Alfreeda Castelino and the Executive Ladies Committee members came on stage during the prayer dance. The programme was graced by the presence of our Supporters and well-wishers of Bellevision Bahrain.

A brief stage programme was conducted with cake cutting, the cake was prepared by one of our active and supporting member Naveen Mendonca. In Presidential speech Alfreeda Castelino welcomed the gathering and expressed her satisfaction for hosting various activities successfully for the past one year and expressed her gratitude and thanked all the members for their hard work and dedication. General Secretary Rashmi Fernandes, read out the annual report to the gathering highlighting several activities that were carried out during 2016 and various efforts being made to bring the community together. Simultaneously, while the report was being read out, a Power Point presentation prepared by Raymond Kishore D’Souza was played showing photographs of the events which helped the audience to relive those moments once again.

The founder president Joel D’Sa took on the responsibility of honouring the Sponsors and they were presented with the memento. He said Bellevision Bahrain remains thankful to all sponsors and appreciate their continuous support during these 6 years. The Membership Coordinator – Ronald Alva proposed vote of thanks and thanked all those who have actively participated and supported the event.

The Annual Day programme consisted of many dances, songs and skits from members. The dances were presented by BV Bahrain’s tiny tots –Delisha Fernandes. Ries D’Souza, Anora Fernandes, Rochelle Mendonca, Irel D’Souza, Riva Pinto, Davina D’Souza, Erina Fernandes, Russell D’Souza, Ethan D’Souza & Evan Sequeira. It was so charming to see the little kids jumping and twisting to the beats. Their lively steps and enchanting smile and colorful dresses impressed everyone present there.

In order to rejuvenate the crowd, a scintillating Arabic, Hollywood, Bollywood style dance was performed by Ashelle Castelino, Sophia D’Souza, Shanelle Mendonca and Steesha D’Sa. The rib-tickling comedy skits were put forth by members – Arun Fernandes, Preetham Aranha, Pramila Martis, Naveen Mendonca, Ivan D’Souza and Ronald Alva.

The melodious songs were sung by Elroy Mendonca, Preetham Aranha, Ronald Fernandes & Thomas Fernandes. Special highlighted attraction of the evening was the Couple dance by Sharmila Sequeira, Preetham Aranha, Arun Fernandes, Deepika Fernandes, Pramila Martis, Richard D’Souza, Mario Fernandes & Deena Fernandes and the Dance was choreographed by Deena Fernandes. The Two hour long cultural program held the audience in awe and left them enlightened as the show carried on.

A grand raffle draw was conducted by giving away 10 attractive prizes. The prizes were sponsored by our generous members.

Ronald Alva then said the grace before meals and invoked God’s blessings on the food and all those partaking in it and delicious food was served to everyone present. The entire event was amicably coordinated and managed by Master of ceremonies – Ronald Pinto and Sharmila Sequeira. Wonderful DJ was played by Francis Lobo and the precious moments were photographed by Ronald Fernandes and Wilson D’Souza. The annual day celebration was lively interesting and exciting and all the members went away with sweet and pleasant memories of the day.
