Russell Crowe cleared in Azealia Banks case

Los Angeles, Dec 8 (IANS): Actor Russell Crowe has been cleared in a case relating to his getting into a fight with rapper Azealia Banks in a hotel.

The Los Angeles District Attorney won't be pursing prosecution of the "Gladiator" star in an alleged hotel fight involving Banks due to lack of sufficient evidence, reports eonline.com.

According to legal documents, attendees and other eyewitnesses stated that Banks was actually the "assaultive party", not Crowe.

It was reported in October that the 25-year-old rapper filed a police report against the Oscar-winning actor following an alleged fight that transpired at a Beverly Hills hotel.
