Mangaluru, Dec 10: The logo of Team Elegant, one of the teams competing in the upcoming Mangaluru Premier League (MPL) cricket tournament, was launched in a glittering ceremony at Alva's College, Moodbidri near here on Friday December 9.
Team Elegant is representing Moodbidri in the tournament.
Chairman of Alva's Education Foundation Dr Mohan Alva launched the logo by switching on an LED screen. The team's official t-shirt was also launched on the occasion.
In his address, Dr Alva conveyed his best wishes to the team and expressed hope that Team Elegant would win the cup.
Moodbidri MLA Abhayachandra Jain said that he was a happy to see a team represent Moodbidri and wished good luck.
Ashwin J Pereira, Sudarshan M, Imthiaz, Sirajuddin and others were present.
The formal stage programme was followed by sparkling dance performances as part of the entertainment.
