Mangaluru: A year after police protest, special officer appointed to probe incident

Mangaluru, Dec 10: City police commissioner Chandra Shekar, through an order, has appointed a special officer to investigate the protest staged by police personnel at Mangaluru Rural police station.

ACP Rajendra from Mangaluru City North division is the special officer appointed to probe the protest incident.

The protest was held by the personnel of Mangaluru Rural police station on 8 December, 2015 condemning the action of then police commissioner who sent police inspector Pramod on leave. Pramod was sent on leave after he arrested an accused relating to a case in Ulaibettu.

The order by the police commissioner dated December 9, says that the special officer should investigate the case of 9 police personnel protesting in front of the police station in support of then police inspector Pramod. The order also says that the probe should be finished within three months and a report should be submitted.

All the police personnel involved in the protest have been transferred to different police stations since then including inspector Pramod.

    There is no respect, value for sincere and honest officers.The State prefers corrupt officers only. This is the trend. Thats why Officers embrace for suicidal affairs.

    When BJP comes back to power in 2018, Inspector Pramod will be brought back to Mangalore.

    Only BJP recognises the honest officers.

    YES BJP IS VERY HONEST, AND YADYOORAPPA IS TOO HONEST, ALL THE BJP PEOPLE ARE TOO HONEST, THE BJP RESULT WILL COME IN UP ELLECTION IN NEXT 3 MONTHS AND ALSO IN 2019 BIG RESULT OF PM. YOU WILL SEE THE RESULT BY WHICH PEOPLE WILL SEND BACK TO THEIR ACTUAL PLACE WHERE THEY ARE SUITABLE.
