Puttur: Unidentified old woman found dead at Uppinangadi bus stand

Puttur, Dec 13: An unidentified dead body of an elderly lady was found  atUppinangadi bus stand on Tuesday, December 13. 

The age of the lady is estimated to be around 70 years. 

Uppinangadi police arrived at the spot and registered a case under IPC section 174(c) for unnatural death. The body has been sent to the Wenlock district hospital mortuary in Mangaluru.  

The police said that the body will be kept in the mortuary for two days for the arrival of the relatives. 

They also asked to contact the Uppinangadi police station to claim the body.
