Nida Mahmood steps in as design consultant for Satya Paul labels


New Delhi, Dec 15 (IANS): Club SP and Satya Paul Accessories, labels under the house of brand Satya Paul, on Thursday announced a collaboration with designer Nida Mahmood as the Design Consultant for the Spring Summer 2017 collection.

Known for her distinctive designs and eclectic usage of colours, Nida will provide the design direction for both these brands in the upcoming capsule collection. 

"I would like to speak about the sensibilities of both the brands and how both of them marry perfectly. I believe the creative prowess of the design world combined with the business acumen of the corporate fashion houses can create really impactful partnerships. And I am really positive and excited to start this journey together," the designer said in a statement.

Launched recently by The House of Satya Paul, Club SP caters to the modern Indian woman who keeps up with the trends without compromising on her comfort.

"This is the start of an exciting new chapter for us at Genesis Colors with the launch of our new brand Club SP and we are very certain that this capsule collection designed by Nida will help us reach the right audience with some iconic designs in the making." said Nikhil Mehra, CEO, Genesis Group, the company that owns Satya Paul.

The collection is all set to hit the stores in Feb- March, 2017.
