Mangaluru, Dec 15: "It is not right to use women for one’s personal benefits when the person is in a respectful position in the society," said Umashree, Kannada and Culture minister.

Umashree was answering the media persons in the city on Thursday December 15 when asked about the episode of former minister HY Meti who resigned from his portfolio after it was alleged that intimate moments between him and woman were filmed.

"Whoever it may be, it is wrong for a man to use the helplessness of women for his personal benefits. We are not in favour of anyone. Let the truth come out. An enquiry has been already launched y CID and chief minister Siddaramaiah will take the necessary action after receiving the report." she added.

When asked about senior Congress leader Janardhan Poojary's statement demanding CBI probe into the Meti case, she said “We have full confidence on CID team which is investigating the case. I have the confidence that the enquiry will be fair and just.”

Meti will come out with clean chit after situation calms down and then he will be reinstated and treated on par like tanveer sait. Now itself everyone knows the outcome of the cid. Women themselves help in objectifying women for money. We can see that on tv and elsewhere.
