Kundapur, Dec 16: 'Noshibacho Khell', the superhit Konkani movie produced by Henry D'Silva under the banner of Kanarites Youth Association (KYAM) Films Pvt Ltd, Mumbai, and directed by Harry Fernandes, released at Vinayaka theatre here on Friday December 16.
The ceremony was inaugurated by dean of Kundapur deanery Fr Anil D'Souza.
Addressing the gathering, Fr Anil D'Souza said, "Noshibacho Khell is an excellent attempt for the development of Konkani language. Many more movies should come up in Konkani language. A language can develop through the medium of entertainment. The support of Konkani lovers is essential for such efforts. Noshibacho Khell film has turned out beautifully. The talented artistes have infused life into the characters and made it complete."
Actress Ranjitha Louis said, "Noshibacho Khell is a beautiful film. People have appreciated the movie, and therefore, it has been successful in winning the hearts of Konkani lovers. Each and every person should watch this movie. Thanks to the support of Daijiworld, the movie has got very good publicity."
Producer of the movie Henry D'Silva Suratkal said, "Noshibacho Khell has already completed 260 successful shows and is still going strong. Konkani speaking people have wholeheartedly welcomed and supported the movie. The movie has got very good response from the audience and I wish let such support is shown for all the Konkani movies in future too."
Rons Ronald, Sanjay Andrade, Sujatha Andrade, Catholic Sabha members Valerian Fernandes, and Shanthi Periera were also present. Flavon D'Souza compered the programme and thanked the gathering.
On public demand, the movie is being screened again in various theatres in Mangaluru, Udupi and Mumbai. The shows from December 16 are as follows:
December 16 onwards: Everyday 4 shows at Prabhath Talkies, Mangaluru and Big Cinemas, Mangaluru everyday 6.30 pm show. Everyday 4 shows at Vinayaka Talkies, Kundapur.
Sunday December 18 at 9.30 am: Dattani Miraj Cinema, Vasai West organized by Vasai Konkani Welfare Association committee members.
January 13, 2017 at Doha, Qatar at 3 pm.
January 22, 2017 at 9.30 am Mira Road, Dombivali, Panvel.
January 29, 2017 at Panjim, Goa at 6 pm.
The film will also be staged in UAE, Kuwait, Muscat and Bahrain in February.
