Mangaluru, Dec 17: In an apparent suicide bid, a woman jumped into the river from Netravati bridge here late evening on Saturday December 17.
A person who was driving by in a vehicle saw her jump into the water and informed Ullal police.
The police who rushed to the spot found her vanity bag and sandals on the bridge.
From her voter card, the police have identified the woman as Tulasi (50), wife of Vijay, a resident near Kankanady bypass road.
