Kuwait, Dec 20: Tulu Koota Kuwait (TKK) released the calendar for the year 2017 at the all committee meeting held on December 16 at the Indian Public School, Salmiya, in the city.

The calendar was released by Valerian Sanctis jointly with the president, Wilson D’Souza, the advisors Ramesh Kidiyoor, Tharendra P Shettigar and Harish Bhandary. Valerian Sanctis of M & M Caterers, in his address to the audience, appreciated the association and its contribution to society. Ramesh Kidyoor in his motivational speech to all the committee members said that voluntary service to the association will help them to understand their personal strength and weakness and to develop their communication and leadership skills.

The president, Wilson D’Souza explained how a calendar plays a crucial role in our day to day life to plan our routine, celebrate festivals and so on. He also announced the calendar events of Tulu Koota Kuwait for the year 2017 which are as follows:

• March 17 – family get-together
• April 21 - Rasamanjari
• October 13 – Tulu Parba competitions
• October 27 – Tulu Parba
• December 8 – annual general body meeting

The Tulu Koota Kuwait members can relate to the calendar easily as it is the only calendar released in the city that includes all the holidays in the city as well as Karnataka holidays along with Tulu Koota Kuwait calendar of events.

The calendar was sponsored by Valerian Sanctis of M & M Caterers and printing material was taken care of by the well wishers. The calendar was designed by Manoj Kumar and the event was hosted by Sathish Acharya.
