Kasargod: Four including three of a family killed in car-truck collision

Kasargod, Jan 4: As a result of an accident that took place on Wednesday January 4, between a car and a container truck, four persons including three from a family died.

Ram Narayanan (52), Vatsala (48), their son Ranjith (20) and his friend Nitin (24) from Thrissur are the persons deceased.

The accident took place at Uppala Naya Bazar.

The car was going from Thrissur to Mangaluru while the truck was in the opposite direction.

The collision took place at around 4 am.

Manjeshwar police have registered a case.

    Why do people drive at night? I consider myself really good driver, but i always avoid driving at night on longer journeys.

    Yes agree. Acidnets are common in Kundapura area. Now Kasaragod is also on the news regarding accidents. Night driving must be very careful espeically in Mangalore Kasaragod highway where there many accidents take place. And many lives getting lost. Very sad incident indeed
