Daijiworld Media Network-Mangaluru (RJP)

Mangaluru, Jan 4: A case stands registered against Dakshina Kannada Member of Parliament Nalin Kumar Kateel at Konaje police station for his saying he would set fire to Dakshina Kannada district if culprits in Karthik Raj murder case were not caught in 10 days time.

The case has been registered under section 506 of Indian Penal Code (IPC). “The court has asked for more information in this case and the report has been submitted.
Next move will be made as per the direction from the court,” said police commissioner Chandra Shekar on Tuesday, January 3.

Nalin’s remarks have attracted widespread criticism from many quarters including from the home minister. But local BJP and VHP have stood by Nalin.

Nalin had made the statement on Sunday, January 2 during a protest. He later clarified that the statement was not made with intention of disrupting peace.

Fanatics win when there is no rule of law. It is a happy moment that the law is working even on those in power. If communal incidents have to decrease in the district people like Nalini should be kept in jail for a few years. How can an MP threaten the state otherwise. He should be shown his place in a democracy

Zakir naik was openly demeaning other religions and provocating terrorism that kills innocents Nalin has not done this. Arrested terrorsts have confessed they followed Zakirs teaching , Nalin does not have such followers. Zakir has been banned by many countries Nalin has not been. Zakir has fled the country and hiding in Malaysia to escape arrest but Nalin Kaleel has not.

    Let us be truthful.

Dr. Zakir Naik is a humble student of Comparative religions and preaches PEACE and ONENESS of God quoting FULENTLY verses from Qura'n, Bible and Vedas. Being a Muslim, he never propogated hatred or terrorism. He proves the matters with logic, datas and scientific facts.

When he is truthful, why not appreciate him?

brother dont compare zakir naik with sanghi bakths. Zakir naik was targeted by the modi regime just because he was logically proving oneness of god or THAUHEED which actually a threat to the existence of idol worship.

But modi team parlimentareans almost have loose tongue with anti social mindsets. See another MP of uttar kannada yesterday bady beat the doctors in hospitals but no case has filed .Whatever the modi govt can say but dr naik is an islamic schollar who never be compared with this chaddies.

    Jamal,

Zakir Naik should only restrict to himself to his religion. Not to poke his nose, in other religions.

If he wants to compare his study of other religion, let him choose a platform, where there is discussion of all religions not on the platform where he propogate his religion which he belong and shows that he is just, too superior.
