Karkala: Two die on spot after bike hits roadside tree

Karkala, Jan 4: In a tragic incident, two persons died on the spot when their bike hit a roadside tree at Joduraste in the early hours of Wednesday, January 4.


Arun

The deceased have been identified as Arun Nayak, resident of Nitte Padavu, and Rakshit, a resident of Joduraste.

Informed sources said that Rakshit was to drop his friend Arun home after having meal at a hotel near Anantashayana in the town.

The bike was owned by Arun. Rakshit was reportedly riding the bike from Banglegudde.

The post-mortem was conducted in taluk government hospital.

A case has been registered in town police station.
