Bengaluru: Rayanna Brigade projects Eshwarappa as next chief minister

Daijiworld Media Network - Bengaluru (SP)

Bengaluru, Jan 12: At the meeting of Sangolli Rayanna Brigade held here on Wednesday January 11, Eshwarappa repeatedly spoke about his total dedication to BJP. His address at the preparatory meeting relating to the Brigade's convention proposed to be organized at Koodala Sangama in Bagalkot district on January 26, was interspersed with wry comments about state president of the party, B S Yeddyurappa.

Eshwarappa began his address by thanking Yeddyurappa for suspending BJP leader, Venkatesh Murthy, from the party. He said that with this move, Murthy has been elevated to the level of a state leader from that of city-level leader. Although his address also contained attack against Congress, the main crux appeared to be criticizing Yeddyurappa in a way that was not direct. At the meeting, the Brigade strongly supported the idea of projecting Eshwarappa as the next chief minister of Karnataka.

Eshwarappa said that the Brigade, which is apolitical, is meant to ensure that poor people get justice. He said that individually BJP MLAs are happy about starting this organization and that it will help them in the next election. But they do not openly support the organization because of the fear of Yeddyurappa, he said. He wanted to know from Yeddyurappa why he is opposing the Brigade, adding that the BJP state president is yet to explain his stand on this point.

Saying that the Brigade was set up to bring BJP to power and make Yeddyurappa the chief minister, he felt that Yeddyurappa should have felt happy about it. "It appears that someone has given wrong feedback to Yeddyurappa about the organization.," he commented. About Yeddyurappa's call to hold conventions through party Morchas,he questioned Yeddyurappa as to how can leaders and Swamijis who are not aligned with BJP be expected to take part in such conventions, as it will be purely a party affair.

Eshwarappa expressed deep anguish at the suspension of Venkatesh Murthy. He said he is firm on continuing with the activities of Sangolli Rayanna Brigade.

In the last BJP government in Karnataka BJP has 3 Chief Minister and 2 Deputy Chief Minister running the office in parallel can't deliver 'Acche din'.

Let make Eshwarappa CM so that his cash counting machine can be effectively used to count the illegal money of Reddys and Yeddys.

This joker lost MLA election should have been set aside that time. Given back door entry as MLC and made chairman still he plays community cards and senseless statements damaging the BJP credentials. However BJP does not have any good leaders in the state dreaming of next government purely due to the failure of congress government and adamancy attitude of our current CM. Our state ruined by current political parties power game. unfortunately Congress, BJP,JDS or any other party in the state proved failure. people should elect the right candidates in future is the only option.

Both yeddy and Eshwarappa minted money when they were in power looting the state.
Yeddy lost all his money when he floated his party after being kicked out from BJP and hence came back to BJP
Eshwarappa is now spending money and if gone wrong will be back to BJP
Then again yeddi will be CM and Eshwarappa DCM and again loot people....if BJP voted to power
God save us from our coastal belt politicians who are pushing us towards yettinaholey disaster and these kind of so called people leaders

If Congress had chosen, Kharge or Krishna as the CM when they got majority instead of Sidhu, people wouldn't have bothered about what is happening in BJP.

Now that all worried if there will be a split in BJP and congress will come to power again!!

    @ Shankar,

After looking at the political developments within BJP over the past couple of months, one thing is pretty much certain..., that BJP high command has no nerve to touch either leaders plus Reddygaru (for reasons better known to themselves).

    so be it...,

Sooner than later the scene will not be different at the national level as well...,

    People,

In 2018 Yeddy will defeat Eshwarappa like in 2013...Eshwarappa might try to defeat Yeddy....but unlikely to succeed...

Like Rowdys kill each other and society will gain...same here Yeddy and Eshwarappa's fight is good for Karnataka...I hope both will defeat each other...
