Mangaluru Feb 2: Senior Congress leader B Janardhan Poojary on Thursday Feburary 2 said that powerful nations, especially the USA, are preparing for third world war, but Prime Minister Narendra Modi seems 'relaxed' with no preparation to defend the country if war were to happen.

Addressing a press meet here, Poojary said, "Superpowers are getting ready for the third world war. The United States of America is building bunkers to prepare for a potential apocalypse. In case the third world war commences, people will run helter-skelter for survival of their livelihood and our country will be at risk.

"Media is frequently telecasting the way America is preparing itself by building bunkers but so far there is no preparation in our country for the third world war, as Prime Minister Narendra Modi is relaxed and is not showing any concern for the people of the country. Modi should take some concrete steps to protect the people. Modi strongly believes that demonetising high value currencies is the biggest achievement so far in his entire political career, but this move has made people suffer and has also cost 120 lives."

When asked his opinion on the union budget, Poojary said, "The union government has proposed a balanced budget. The entire country had lot of expectations regarding the budget. The union government is trying to satisfy the people by presenting such a balanced budget. It is impossible to satisfy the people of this country. People had high expectations from Prime Minister Narendra Modi but he has done good for only the high profile people and not for the poor. If the budget satisfies the high-profile people, then it indicates that poor will definitely suffer from this budget."

Poojary asked finance minister Arun Jaitley to visit Delhi's neighbouring states like Haryana and Uttar Pradesh to review the conditions of the farmers. "Farmer suicide cases have been rising every now and then as they find it difficult to repay the loan," he said.

Commenting on the Congress party, he said, "After S M Krishna, several Congress leaders are on the verge of resigning, resulting in a huge loss for the Congress. If the party has to survive, a Dalit leader should be the next chief minister. Dr G Parameshwara is the right candidate for the post."

Congress leaders Kallige Tharnath Shetty, Arun Coelho, Karunakar Shetty and others were present.

Would have appreciated if Poojary has advised Mr. Modi World Peace instead of World War. India always stood for Ahimsa. This misguided congressman in his old age is speaking nonsense. Does he know the consequences of a World War? Has he ever glued to the TV or read the news to see what is happening in the Middle East. Crazy Congressman.

PM Modi does not have to prepare for third world war because his idiotic bhakths will protect him and the country. His bhakths are famous in attacking minorities and I am sure they will do a good job as soldiers during third world war to protect India. Will have to see whether they will be nationalist or anti nationalist.

Good time pass Fresh Meat (press meet), Mr. Poojary doesn’t have any role in politics, this is the only way to express his whereabouts and existence. He should retire gracefully, even after losing 7 MP election Congress party till considering him as a leader, this is the greatness of congress, in return he should maintain that gratitude rather than talking unnecessarily and without any agenda. And showing his frustration blaming congress leaders for nothing.
