Bengaluru, Feb 3: “It is very unfortunate that senior leader S M Krishna has attacked Congress party after enjoying several posts. No one should desire for posts in politics as it is a service to the society. It is not business. A senior politician like S M Krishna should know this.” said state revenue minister Kagodu Thimmappa on Thursday, February 2 here.
“No leader in entire South India held posts like Krishna did. He held several top posts in his four-decade association with the Congress party. He would have become Congress state chief again, had he involved more in strengthening the party.” Kagodu added.

It is remembered that both Kagodu Thimmappa and S M Krishna are of the same age of 84.
Black mark
Meanwhile Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee (KPCC) working president Dinesh Gundu Rao, commenting on the exit of S M Krishna from Congress, said “One cannot condemn the food after a sumptuous meal with lot of varieties, just because sour curd was part of the meal. It is a black mark on the veteran leader as he has quit the party after enjoying so much of power.”
