Udupi: 29-year-old Jharkhand youth jumps into moving train, dies

Udupi, Feb 5: A man jumped suddenly onto a moving train and ended life at Indrali here on Sunday, February 5.

The deceased is identified as Kumar Gaurav Jha (29) from Devgarh in Jharkhand.

As per details available, Kumar Gaurav Jha was sitting at railway station here at Indrali and when Matsyagandha Express arrived, he suddenly jumped onto the moving train and died instantly.

The identity of the person could be established after finding the voter’s identity card in his pocket. Other details like how he arrived in Udupi are not known yet.

Manipal police have registered a case and are investigating.
