Daijiworld Media Network - Mangaluru (EP)

Mangaluru, Feb 6: A fish laden tempo hit a bus after its tyre came out due to a technical defect on NH66 at Uchila, near Someshwar in the morning on Monday, February 6. The tempo driver and cleaner escaped unhurt.

The tempo was trying to overtake the bus at Uchila, but it took a complete turn and hit the bus after its tyre came out. Locals rushed and rescued the driver and cleaner from the vehicle.

People usually run to pick the fish lying on the road instead of rescuing the injured in such accidents. But the incident at Uchila was a proof for humanity. Shreya Sangama and Mubarak association activists who came near the accident affected vehicle together loaded the fish in another vehicle, handed it over to the tempo owner and cooperated in its transport to Kerala.

Someshwar panchayat president Rajesh Uchil got the fish oil cleaned from the road with water from tanker. The accident was captured in CCTV also.
