RIP to Fermi whose life and future full of so many high expectations was abruptly snatched away.

Yes I do agree with Zeitgeist, Mangalore..... two wheelers are extremely dangerous; they expose the rider/s to extreme dangers at all times; no matter what.

I will not blame anyone; rather advise you to take care of your lives and that of your loved ones and if the opportunity prevails think of using public transportation or an alternative other than a two wheeler.

I cannot stand and be a silent spectator at the relentless exit of so many youth in their prime of life.

I am gonna repeat what i always say..... Two wheeler is dangerous. it does not matter how carefully one rides it. Rule is that some day you gonna meet with accident.

I advice to parents of children who have given them two wheeler is .... please discourage your children from riding two wheeler. if you already have one home please sell it. Please get them a car... i know its more expensive to use it but at least life wont be in danger.

to whoever is reading this comment , please be careful on the roads of Mangalore since the bigger vehicles tend to drive irrational because of their timings and ego on the streets which causes road rage.

its high time that these things should be taken care of and rules should be implemented as a lot of youth lose their lives .

I was there on that spot. If anyone immediately taken Fermi to good hospital he would have alive today. But half an hour time took on the spot to shift body by auto to Nethaji, from there another hospital.
Same college students was there on the sport by car but they were busy talking over the phone. If they help to shift the body to the hospital immediately by their car may be Fermi responding the treatment. RIP Fermi

The above comment is false and it appears to me that its been created from a fase account. Amidst the crowd gathered at that spot, we were just 4 girls and Jyothi was one among us who reached the spot at 4.42 pm soon after the tragic incident took place. The accident might have taken place at around 4.35 or 4.40. We wasted no time and the localites took some action after they spoke to us and realised we were from the same college and Fermi (who had already breathed his last by then ) was immediately rushed to the nearby hospital (Nerhaji hospital ) where the doctors have done their part. However the body of the deceased had to be shifted to another hospital for the postmortem procedures. The other hospital refused to accept and required a letter from Nethaji hospital. Another student of ours Sunny, got the letter arranged after which the body was taken by the hospital.
As young students we did our best of calling 108 and informing the concerned persons (which according to so called Jyoti is called wasting time)
To the person who claims herself to be Jyothi, ma'am you said you were present at that very spot at the time as we were.. I wish you could do the needful (as a responsible citizen and a human being) if you felt we didn't do our part.
To the people reading this : It's easy to judge or pass comments and it's easier to believe them. It's more important to be in the other person's shoe and look at the situation.

I wonder what were you doing there watching the whole time without helping them? While all the students struggled to get help and take him to the hospital, the incident just entertained u? Or someone asked you to judge everyone and not offer help? Never judge again..

There should be strict speed limits depending on type of vehicle. Typically heavier vehicles should have a lower speed limit. The drivers involved in major accidents should not be allowed to drive for a long enough time. Violators of speed limits should be fined heavily and and repeat offenders shall have their licence suspended.

It is very painful to see loss of especially young lives in such accidents.
