Los Angeles, Feb 11 (IANS): "The Batman" standalone film will be helmed by Matt Reeves, say sources.
Reeves is in early talks to take over directing duties after actor-filmmaker Ben Affleck stepped down from the role in late January. Affleck will still star in and produce the Warner Bros. movie.
Sources told variety.com that the "War for the Planet of the Apes" director has already committed to helming the superhero movie, although a deal isn't done yet.
