Freddy Daruwala interacts with real policemen for 'Commando 2'


New Delhi, Feb 12 (IANS): Actor Freddy Daruwala, who will be seen portraying the role of a police officer in "Commando 2", interacted with real police officials in the capital and he says it was an "amazing experience".

"It was an amazing experience interacting with the policemen. I've learnt a lot from them as an individual which I'll always cherish," Freddy said in a statement.

As part of the preparation for his character, the actor met the police officials in Delhi and spent almost a week with them to learn more about the way they operate, their body language and mannerisms.

Freddy was quite excited to learn some safety measures from the police officers. He also shared his experiences of working in Bollywood and how different it is from their profession.

The actor will be seen playing the role of ACP Bakhtawar Khan in "Commando 2". He says his character is very intense.

"My character Bakhtawar is very intense and tough and so this research was really important," he said.

"Commando 2" features Vidyut Jammwal, Esha Gupta and Adah Sharma in pivotal roles.

Directed by Deven Bhojani, the film has been produced by Vipul Amrutlal Shah, Dhaval Jayantilal Gada and Reliance Entertainment.

The movie releases on March 3.
