Jeddah: NRI Sports Federation launches Jersey , unveils Kabaddi League trophy

Jeddah, Feb 27: NRI Sports Federation, Jeddah hosted the 'Jersey Launching' ceremony and unveiled the Kabaddi League Trophy at a grand event at Impala Garden Auditorium, Jeddah on February 25.

Faizal Damoodi, from Bhatkal Community and Mallappan, general manager of Yusuf S Al Rooq Trading Est were the chief guests of the event. They released the jersey and unveiled the trophies.

Delivering the introductory speech Akbar Kalladka, general secretary of NRI Sports Federation said that the main objective of this federation was to promote rural sport among Indian expatriates. Akbar also thanked the main sponsors White Stone, Al Muzain, Expertise, Energia Al Faris and cosponsors who supported the league.

Anchor Mohammed Ali Muloor explained the rules and regulations of the league and proposed vote of thanks.

Captains of SACQO-Kalladka Warriors, Bhatkal Community Jeddah, White Stone-Nava Yuga, Energia-All is Well, Al Muzain-Knight Riders, Karavali Welfare Association Riyadh (KWAR), MANKY Community Jeddah and Jeddah Tamil Thunders, and managers of all the nine teams were present at the occasion.

The Kabaddi League in association with SACQO and Bhatkal Community Jeddah will be held on March 10 at Shababiya Ground, Prince Majid Street, Jeddah.
