Tarun Tahiliani, Amit Aggarwal finale designers for AIFW 2017

New Delhi, Feb 27 (IANS): Ace fashion designer Tarun Tahiliani and designer Amit Aggarwal will, in collaboration, be showcasing their creations at the grand finale of the upcoming Amazon India Fashion Week Autumn Winter 2017.

The designers will be presenting their interpretation of the 'Fresh New Look' campaign by Amazon Fashion at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium here.

The four-day event will be held from March 15.

"This year, we are excited to be presenting the finale with my wonderful colleague, protégé and someone I have learnt a lot from, Amit Aggarwal," Tahiliani said in a statement.

Tahiliani added: "As we show our 'Ready to Wear', for me, it represents the most sinewy synthesis of this global world, nowhere represented as much in its diversity, as in Indian fashion where the T- shirt is paired with a sari, a jacket with a salwar and a tunic or dress with palazzos or tights."

Arun Sirdeshmukh, Head of Amazon Fashion, said that he is delighted to have the two designers showcase their work at the extravaganza this year.
