'Avengers: Infinity War' set in Hogwarts-like castle

Los Angeles, Mar 9 (IANS): Some scenes of the forthcoming film "Avengers: Infinity War" are reportedly set in a Hogwarts-like castle.

The reports surfaced from a photograph shared by directors Anthony and Joe Russo on their Facebook account. In the image, the Russo Brothers are featured standing amid bricked building resembling Hogwarts school in "Harry Potter" movie series, reports aceshowbiz.com.

The location Durham Cathedral in Durham, England, was used by Warner Bros. during the production of "Harry Potter" movies.

The Russo Brothers eventually deleted the image from their account, sparking speculation that the photograph was supposed to be kept in secret and that they would use Durham Cathedral as one of the settings in "Avengers: Infinity War".

Meanwhile, the team of the movie started filming in Atlanta since January 23.

"Avengers: Infinity War" is slated to release next year in May.

In the first set footage, Marvel head Kevin Feige has confirmed that the Avengers will team up with the Guardians of the Galaxy and Spider-Man in the movie. It has been said that the Avengers will be completely unprepared to face villain Thanos (Josh Brolin) after the events in "Captain America: Civil War".

"Avengers: Infinity War" cast members include Chris Evans, Robert Downey Jr., Tom Holland, Chris Pratt, Chris Hemsworth, Mark Ruffalo, Jeremy Renner, Elizabeth Olsen, Paul Bettany, Zoe Saldana, Karen Gillan and Dave Bautista.

"Game of Thrones" star Peter Dinklage is speculated to play MODOK, while Benedict Cumberbatch will reprise his role as Doctor Strange.
