'Gulaabi 2.0' in 'Noor' needed carefree attitude: Tulsi Kumar

Mumbai, March 28 (IANS): Singer Tulsi Kumar, who has crooned numbers like "Saiyaan superstar", "Mere humsafar" and "Soch na sake", says her new song "Gulaabi 2.0" in the forthcoming Sonakshi Sinha-starrer "Noor" required a carefree attitude.

"I was literally dancing and enjoying while recording this track in the studio. Being a mix of trap and hip-hop, the new age song required a carefree, 'bindass' attitude in rendition, that made me relish one of the best times of my life. I have tried my best to do justice to the vivacious spirit of the song and I hope that the listeners love this too," Tulsi said in a statement.

"Gulaabi 2.0" is an EDM version of late music legends R.D. Burman and Mohammed Rafi's "Gulaabi aankhen".

The song has been composed by Amaal Malik, and sung by Tulsi and Yash Narvekar.

Based on Pakistani author Saba Imtiaz's novel "Karachi, You're Killing Me!", "Noor" also features Purab Kohli and Sunny Leone with comedian Kanan Gill debuting in the film industry.
