Mudipu 'Way of Cross' at Blessed Joseph Vaz Shrine Echoed Passion of Lord

Mangalore, Mar 16: 'Way of Cross' was held with fervour at Blessed Joseph Vaz hill shrine, located at Mudipu, few kilometers away from Mudipu parish, on Sunday March 16 morning.

Fr Andrew Leo D'Souza, parish priest of Nirkan and Fr Lawrence Mascarehnas, parish priest of Allipade, led the devotees through the station of the cross with the message of Christ and personal meditations.  More than 5,000 devotees devoutly took part in the 'Way of Cross', meditating over the passions of Jesus Christ. 

The homily of Fr Ajit Rodrigues, Carmelite priest of Rishivan, Ranipura, was successful in bringing home the message of Jesus Christ, love and compassion during the troubled times for Christian community across the nation.

Fr Lancy Saldanha, assistant priest of Blessed Joseph Vaz church, Mudipu and other priests rendered their valuable services during the confessions.

Fr Andrew D'Souza, parish priest of Blessed Joseph Vaz church, Mudipu conveyed heartfelt thanks to co-celebrant priests and the gathering of faithful for making the 'Way of Cross' meaningful celebration.

It was indeed a memorable day for all those faithful attending the 'Way of Cross' in the hill shrine of Blessed Joseph Vaz, which resembled like Calvary hill, in order to go through passions of Jesus in real times.
