London: ‘Ek Aslyar Ek Na’ screened second time to houseful audience

London, Apr 13: ‘Ek Aslyar Ek’ super hit Konkani movie was screened for the second time in London due to popular demand.

The special event took place in Harrow Cinema on Sunday, April 9, where houseful audience of Mangalureans and Goans were gathered to watch the movie.

The movie has been very well received in India, the Middle East, in Canada, USA, and Australia. It was brought back to London after people demanded a second show after successful first screening.


‘ Ek Aslyar Ek Na’ shows that Konkani cinema has definitely come a long way. The movie was enjoyed by all especially for the comedy and photography, opined many audience.

Particularly seeing the picturesque beauty of Mangaluru, that was so well depicted in the movie, was a bonus for them. For most of the audience, it was reminiscing childhood and the scenarios that are so typical of their native land.
In his vote of thanks, Sunil Uchila thanked producer Frank Fernandes and the entire EAEN team for producing a superb movie.
Pradeep Barboza has directed the movie with also playing the lead role with Priya Menezes.
