Vinay Pathak's Popat act in 'Hanuman Da Damdaar'

Mumbai, April 14 (IANS): Actor Vinay Pathak has lent his voice for the animated character Popat Sharma from Ruchi Narain's "Hanuman Da Damdaar".

"I'm joining the Damdaar toli to report live from Jungle Raaj Tak. 'Hanuman Da Damdaar'," Vinay tweeted on Friday about his character - a parrot. 

The film, written and directed by Narain, is under the production of R.A.T Films. 

Superstar Salman Khan has given his voice to the character of Lord Hanuman in the animated film, which is set to release on May 19. 

Celebrities like Javed Akhtar, Makarand Deshpande, Raveena Tandon and Kunal Kemmu have also given voice-overs in the film.
