Udupi, May 3: The activists of Bajrang Dal and Vishwa Hindu Parishad staged protests in front of Clock Tower on Tuesday, May 2 condemning the brutality of Pakistani forces who killed two Indian soldiers and mutilated their bodies along the Line of Control in Jammu and Kashmir on Monday morning.

Addressing the protesters, Bajrang Dal district convener Sharan Pumpwell said, “The soldiers are protecting the border. The cruel assassination of soldiers by Pakistani army has been done consistently. Neither soldiers nor women have security of their life. In some incidents, youths have insulted soldiers. One can face martyrdom for his motherland but not any form of insult.”

“A planned conspiracy has been forming from two-three months where some evil-minded people are insulting our soldiers in social media to provoke communal conflict. Through this protest, the activists are demanding the union government to declare emergency and also to take stern action against anti-nationals in Jammu and Kashmir.” he added.

“The government has dual stand; one law for the entire nation and separate law for Jammu and Kashmir. In many places, soldiers have been victims of stone pelting. This is condemnable. Whoever indulges in illegal activities should be dealt with strictly. Terrorists and traitors should get severe punishment. Their heads should be cut off before talking to Pakistan. Some groups have created scary environment in the police system. Terrorists and some people are trying to disturb the peaceful fabric of society by creating communal riots,” he alleged.

Former Udupi MLA Raghupati Bhat said, “People of India are able to lead peaceful life only due to the sacrifices made by soldiers. The neighbouring countries like China, Pakistan, and Bangladesh look up to us due to our peaceful atmosphere.”

“Recently, Prime Minister Modi called forth to give respect to all soldiers with standing ovation in public places because of their noble work. As citizens of the nation, we should respect the soldiers. This protest aims to garner support for the soldiers.” Raghupati added.

Speaking to the protesters, Sunil Kumar said, “The BD and VHP activists are condemning every external attack. Terrorism is not only restricted to one state. Attack on peace keepers and social servants have increased in recent time. The law needs to be strict and rigid to deal with terrorism. It is also important that we safeguard the lives of police, soldiers and peace keepers of the nation.”

Bajrang Dal leaders Dinesh Mendon, Girish Kundapur, Sumith Shetty and others were present.

PM Stopover in Lahore on way back from Kabul, makes a Christmas date with history In 2015. A month later another history repeated. The 2016 Pathankot attack was a terrorist attack committed on 2 January 2016 by a heavily armed group which attacked the Pathankot Air Force Station, part of the Western Air Command of the Indian Air Force.

We Indians with short time memory have already forgiven Baba Ramdev aide Vaidik who went to Pakistan and had secret talks with Hafiz saeed without the knowledge of Ministry of Home affairs. India considers him as one of its most wanted terrorists because of his alleged ties with Lashkar-e-Taiba and his alleged involvement in attacks in India such as the 2008 Mumbai terror attacks, 2006 Mumbai train bombings and 2001 Indian Parliament attack . He was released during Vajpayee's tenure accompanied by Jaswant Singh to Kabul botched up operation under security advisor Ajit doval who is now with same title in PM Modi's governance.

Bajrang Dal should understand national security is not chasing trucks carrying cows and beating the occupants to death shouting slogans in the name of God. It is easy to behead someone is unarmed. To face the enemy it need courage and devotion to the nation. Patriotism does not come forcing someone to say 'Vande mataram' or 'Bharatmata ki jai'. If they are really 'patriotic' let them enroll to forces and do some 'sevak' work instead of vandalism and hooliganism.

Ready to roll your head first. Then those visited Pakistan on surprise and secret visit.

For Bhakts desh Bhakti is first threatening businessmen and then forcing the businessmen to take security from their rowdies. Shetre, this is called as extortion, not desh bhakti. Get together with few rowdies, organize protest, attack innocent girls, call press conference - this is not desh bhakti. This is called as rowdism. Blind Bhakts will never understand this. It requires brain to understand it.

BD & VHP should lead by example and gain our salute by showing their might and dadagiri in Kashmir and nullifying terrorists and stone pelters! Every one is pained that our soldiers are being killed.....pity BD and VHP are trying to gain mileage out of cruelty of terrorists and Pakis! For me they are a laughing stock in Udupi! What difference it makes when they shout in Udupi?? Bhatkal or Hyderabad would have been better at least few sympathizers get message.

"Come and join army"? Are you calling me from army office?

Joining Army was my childhood dream, which did not turn into reality being only son for my parents (I faced immense pressure from family, when I told them on my plan). I still regret that I could not join army and I am not eligible to join army at this stage due to age factor. But remember, I am a true Indian and contribute to my country sincerely. I am not at all involved in any kind of anti-social, anti-national activities & have a good repute in my surrounding. I don't create fear in peoples mind and make their life miserable. I don't poke my nose into others personal matters. Mind it.
