Los Angeles, May 6 (IANS): Supermodel Chrissy Teigen, known for her enviable body, says she has gone under the knife multiple times.

When speaking at a launch event for her new make-up palette with Becca Cosmetics, Teigen said she had plastic surgery procedures over the year," reports aceshowbiz.com.

"Everything about me is fake except my cheeks," Teigen said with a laugh.

She then pointed to her nose, lips and forehead, and said: "Fake, fake, fake."

She also said she got liposuction done on her underarms, near her armpits.

"I had an armpit sucked out, which was one of the best things. It's a big secret, but I don't care. It was nine years ago or so. And I had two inches to my armpit," she said, adding that she is going to get the procedure done one more time.

"Now it's back though, so now I've gotta pay for (liposuction) again. It was so easy. It made me feel better in dresses; I felt more confident," she said.

However, later it turned out Teigen was joking about getting the procedures on her nose, lips and forehead.

Seemingly distracted by multiple news outlets that picked up the quote, Teigen took to Twitter to clarify her joke.

"Reminder to never ever joke, ever. (I did do the armpits, no regrets except it clearly came back)," she wrote.
