Mandya, May 20: While Kannada film 'Bhoomiputra', based on former chief minister(CM) H D Kumaraswamy was announced recently, a bipoic on former CM B S Yeddyurappa is being discussed.
Television journalist-turned-politician Tejaswini Ramesh will don the director's hat for the film which will be produced by BJP party workers.
"A film on H D Kumaraswamy has been launched. Yeddyurappa himself launched Kumaraswamy on the big political stage. If a film on Kumaraswamy's 20 month ruling can be made, it will be worth making a film on Yeddyurappa who has spent more than 40 years working for people's welfare. Party workers are supporting the decision on making a film on Yeddyurappa's life," said Tejaswini.

"The film on Kumaraswamy may not show how he played political games to keep Yeddyurappa far from the CM's chair. Kumaraswamy became a CM under the patronage of Yeddyurappa. BJP party workers have asked me to show all the truth in the film on Yeddyurappa," she added.
It may be recalled, 'Bhoomiputra', based on former CM Kumaraswamy throws light on the political drama which unfolded during the 20 months of his tenure.
A movie against me is welcome: HDK
Speaking on the movie on life of Yeddyurappa, Kumaraswamy said that he has nothing to with 'Bhoomiputra'. "I am not connected to the film in any ways. I welcome the decision of making a film on Yeddyurappa's life. I can help by giving the necessary footage for the film for a few scenes. Let them show former CM Sadananda Gowda's corruption allegations against Yeddyurappa and also Yeddyurappa's allegation that former CM Jagadessh Shettar had looted the state, in the film," said Kumaraswamy.
