Mannd Sobhann Troupe Arrives to Woo Kuwait Audience

Kuwait, Apr 2: A 12-member Mannd Sobhann and Naach Sobhann troupes headed by Vishwa Konkani Kalaratan Eric Ozario arrived here this morning for their maiden performance in Kuwait 'Sobhann Saanz', to be held on Friday April 4 from 4:30 pm onwards at American International School, Maidan Hawally. The show is being held as part of KCWA 20th anniversary celebrations.

The members of the troupe were received at the airport by Jossie Pinto, Rudy D’Souza, Lancy Rodrigues, Naveen Mascarenhas and Rinna D’Souza.

As announced earlier, Kuwait Canara Welfare Association (KCWA), the foremost and leading Mangalorean Catholic Association in Kuwait is celebrating its 20th anniversary this year and the mega cultural event has been organized as part of the celebration. The evening will be full of variety of songs, rib-tickling humour and scintillating dances to be performed for the first time in Kuwait by Guinness record breaking troupe Mannd Sobhann from Mangalore. 

Mannd Sobhann Gurkar Eric Ozario will lead the singers and joining him will be golden voices of Konkani Rony D’Cunha, Zeena Pereira, Warren D’Souza, Joy Fernandes, Wanisha Fernandes and Ritesh Ozario. Music maestro Roshan D’Souza will lead the band with Richie Montheiro, Jackson D’Souza, Sachin Sequiera, Umesh Iddya, Joy Fernandes and Rithesh Ozario. Naach Sobhann group includes Avil D’Cruz, Jeethan D’Cunha, Anil Spinoza, Marula Gibson and Sweety D’Cruz. Lancy Rodrigues and group from KCWA will entertain the audience with a variety of rib-tickling jokes. Well-known emcee of Dacter Damyav TV serial fame, Stany Alvares from Mangalore will compere the event.
