Mangalore: Two More Arrested in Simon D'Souza Murder Case

Mangalore, Apr 4: Inspector Jayanth Shetty and ASI Narayana Maniyani succeeded in nabbing two more accused of killing Simon D'Souza (64), a resident of Faisalnagar here on Thursday April 4.
The arrested have been identified as Mohiuddin and Sadakatulla. They are brothers and are residents of Madantyar in Beltangady.
With this a total of 4 persons have been arrested in connection with the Simon D'Souza murder. Earlier police had been successful in nabbing Aziz of Bajal and Sadakatulla alias Shoukat from Boliyar. They are under police custody.
The police have recovered wooden club and other weapons used in murdering Simon. Both Mohiuddin and Sadakatulla were planning to leave the state and flee. But before they could do so, police managed to nab them.
As reported earlier Simon D'Souza who owned betel leaves business in Central Market was murdered on March 19 morning near his house. The accused who knew that Simon used to leave his house around 4 in the morning, were of the opinion that he carried thousands of rupees daily along with him. But as confessed, they could find only Rs 7,500 with him on the day he was murdered.
